Thesis Easy, a graphic-based electronic book or E-book, was recently published by UM Press as a free resources for public especially campus members. Written by a team of students from Faculty of Education, Thesis Easy seeks to be an easy-reading handbook, yet comprehensive writing guidance for student.

Thesis Easy editor who is also a University of Malaya's Faculty of Education lecturer, Dr. Adelina Asmawi, said the creation of this eBook is motivated by the need to help student overcoming their struggles in completing their academic writings.

The E-book delivers six reader-friendly chapters broken down into sections that are colorful, fun, and most importantly, enjoyable. Chapter one talks an introduction to qualitative and quantitative research, while chapter two illustrates the path to write literature review. Chapter three, on the other hand, comprehensively discussed about research methodology in which guidelines as to where data collection, tools, and trustworthiness of research are laid out. Chapter four paints ideas on analysis of data including challenges that student may face. Chapter five carefully sketches plagiarism, accessibility, and referencing with examples and explanations, while the final chapter tints the book with a selected thesis.
