Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The following frequently asked questions are common among those contemplating University of Malaya (UM). This page provides answers to these questions and provides links to useful UM websites that provide additional answers.


When can I start begin to review a new manuscript?

  1. A reviewer will be notified via email that he/she has been appointed by the Editor of the journal to become part of the reviewing team for a specific manuscript / article.
  2. A reviewer is required to respond to the invitation by clicking on to the URL link and then;
  3. To accept or decline the invitation by choosing the 'Accept' or 'Decline' button.
  4. Upon accepting the invitation a new email will be sent to the reviewer which will contain the username & password assigned by the system.
  5. Please log-in using the username & password.
  6. Please select the role of a 'Reviewer'.
  7. Reviewer(s) will be able to see the assigned manuscript that needs immediate attention.
