The exhibition presents 121 models of Le Corbusier’s works from RT+Q Architect’s private collection. The physical models are the work of interns at RT+Q. Through the years, it has been a tradition for interns that comes through the office to spend time building a model of a Le Corbusier work. The aim is to acquaint the young students with the design ideas of the modernist icon and arguably the most versatile architect of the 20th century whose architectural works are so highly influential that UNESCO selected 17 sites across seven countries for listing as World Heritage for their outstanding contribution to the Modern Movement.
The exhibition began at the Alliance Francaise Singapore in October 2021, as part of Singapore Archifest, and has since travelled to the National University Singapore (NUS), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and National Design Centre (NDC) Singapore.
