The purpose of these guidelines are to support University of Malaya's staff and students to achieve the 8 Core Areas of UM Eco-Campus Blueprint (UMECB);

(1) Landscape and Biodiversity Management
(2) Waste Management
(3) Water Management
(4) Energy Management
(5) Transportation System Management
(6) Green Procurement
(7) Education Management - Environment and Climate Change
(8) Change Management in Governance, Participation, and Communication.

These guidelines are not meant to be exhaustive but to provide directions and tips which shall be applicable to all campus community in general.
